How we quantify AI visibility, sentiment, and SEO performance—one Sesh at a time.

Weighted Visibility Score
How prominently your brand ranks across LLMs—factoring in each model’s traffic weight.
This is your main “ranked presence” signal.

Formula:
For each result:
Score = (max_rank – rank) × model_weight
Final score = weighted average across all LLMs
Why it matters:
Ranking 2nd in ChatGPT counts more than ranking 1st in a fringe model. This score reflects real exposure.
Presence Score
How often your brand is mentioned, regardless of rank.
Think of it as raw frequency—did the model say your name or not?

Formula:
Count of sessions where your brand is mentioned ÷ total sessions
Why it matters:
Some mentions are buried deep. Presence tells you if you’re in the game at all.
LLM SEO Score
Blends visibility and presence into one performance index.
A composite for AI discoverability.

Formula:
LLM SEO Score = (Weighted Visibility + Presence) ÷ 2
Why it matters:
High visibility but low frequency? Or lots of mentions but never top-ranked? This balances both worlds.
Sentiment Score
Analyzes tone per model (and overall), scaled from -1 (negative) to +1 (positive).

Per Model Formula:
Sentiment = average sentiment polarity across responses
Overall Formula:
Average of all per-model sentiment scores
Why it matters:
Mentioned a lot—but framed negatively? This is your reputation pulse across AIs.
Score Example (with usage weights)
Let’s say your brand ranked:
- 2nd on ChatGPT (weight = 1.0)
- 1st on DeepSeek (weight = 0.05)
Weighted Visibility Score =
((10 – 2) × 1.0) + ((10 – 1) × 0.05) = 8 + 0.45 = 8.45
ChatGPT drives the score; fringe LLMs don’t skew it. Real-world exposure wins.
